A ProsperStack alternative for small Stripe SaaS

ProsperStack's Grow plan starts at $200 a month and covers 50 to 500 cancel sessions, with extra sessions billed at $75 per 50. On a $29 plan, a 20% share of the renewals saves produce is cheaper than $200 until you reach 35 saves a month. Stayput charges that share only, and nothing in a month with no saves.

What ProsperStack charges

From ProsperStack's pricing page, read on 6 Nov 2026:

ProsperStack prices by cancellation sessions: a session starts when a subscriber opens the cancellation flow, and a subscriber who comes back later counts as a new session. Higher plans are listed for larger volumes.

That unit matters. You pay for the sessions you get, not for the subscribers it keeps, so a month in which many people open the flow and few accept an offer costs the same as a good one.

The break-even: how many saves before $200 wins

A 20% share of a saved subscriber's first renewal is a fixed amount per save. Divide $200 by it for the number of saves a month at which the flat fee becomes cheaper.

Your plan price20% of one renewalSaves a month before $200 is cheaper
$19$3.8053 (52 saves cost $197.60)
$29$5.8035 (34 saves cost $197.20)
$49$9.8021 (20 saves cost $196.00)
$99$19.8011 (10 saves cost $198.00)

Check it against your own numbers: how many cancel attempts a month, and what share accept an offer and stay? A SaaS with 60 attempts and one in five accepting has 12 saves, and pays about $70 on a $29 plan under pay per save.

What ProsperStack offers

ProsperStack describes a customisable cancellation flow with coupons, pauses, plan changes and trial extensions synced with the billing platform, surveys, branding and offers you can tailor, and built-in experimentation to test offers and messaging. It lists Stripe among many billing platforms, including Chargebee, Recurly, Paddle and Recharge, and notes that feature support varies by platform.

If you are not on Stripe, that breadth is the reason to look at ProsperStack: Stayput works with Stripe. If you are on Stripe and your volume is in the hundreds of sessions, its tools for testing offers are worth weighing against any per-save fee.

What Stayput decides for each subscriber

Stayput reads the reason a subscriber picks and the words they type, then chooses the offer, the wording and the moment for that one person: a pause, a discount, a downgrade, or no offer at all. The limits come first (the largest discount, the longest pause, no offer in a subscriber's first month) and a decision outside them is rejected before the subscriber sees it. “Cancel anyway” is always one click away.

You can watch it decide before you sign up: the sample cancel session takes 90 seconds, you play the subscriber, and it shows the Stripe change each outcome would make.

Which fits you

  • ProsperStack fits when you are at hundreds of cancel sessions a month, want to run experiments on offers, or bill outside Stripe.
  • Stayput fits when you are on Stripe, get tens of cancel attempts a month rather than hundreds, and want a bill that is zero in a month with no saves.

Ask any vendor what counts as a save. Stripe's own definition is an accepted offer and a customer still subscribed 7 days later; see what counts as a save.
